A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in XMLSoft libxml2 up to 2.6.5 (Document Processing Software). This affects an unknown functionality of the component nanohttp/nanoftp. The bug was discovered 02/24/2004. The weakness was published 02/12/2004 by Yuuichi Teranishi as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is shared at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2004-0110. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
