The weakness was disclosed 03/15/2004 by Janek Vind with waraxe (Website). The advisory is available at secunia.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1821 since 05/04/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a exploit are known.
