SQL injection vulnerability in auth_login.php in Cacti 0.8.5a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and bypass authentication via the (1) username or (2) password parameters.
The weakness was released 08/16/2004 by Fernando Quintero (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.grok.org.uk. This vulnerability was named CVE-2004-1737. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
