D-Link DCS-900 Internet Camera listens on UDP port 62976 for an IP address, which allows remote attackers to change the IP address of the camera via a UDP broadcast packet.

The weakness was disclosed 08/31/2004 by Jerome Athias (Website). The advisory is available at secunia.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2004-1650 since 02/21/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
