A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in IBM DB2 Universal Database 6.0 (Database Software). This issue affects some unknown functionality in the library sqllib/security/db2ckpw. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Buffer overflow in sqllib/security/db2ckpw for IBM DB2 Universal Database 6.0 and 7.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via a long username that is read from a file descriptor argument.
