A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel up to 6.3 (Operating System) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function ksmbd_server_init
of the file fs/ksmbd/server.c of the component ksmbd. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a race condition vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-362. Applying the patch eb307d09fe15844fdaebeb8cc8c9b9e925430aa5 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
