The bug was discovered 10/11/2004. The weakness was published 10/11/2004 by aCiDBiTS (Website). The advisory is shared at bbs.icefire.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-2193 since 07/11/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
