The bug was discovered 10/09/2004. The weakness was presented 10/11/2004 by Soroush Dalili (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2004-2201 since 07/11/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
