Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in phpCOIN 1.2.0 through 1.2.1b allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the new parameter to mod.php, (2) the w parameter to mod.php, (3) the e parameter to login.php, (4) the o parameter to login.php, and possibly other scripts.

The bug was discovered 03/01/2005. The weakness was shared 05/02/2005 by Lostmon (Website). The advisory is shared at secunia.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-0670 since 03/07/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
