A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in PHP Arena paFileDB 1.1.3/2.1.1/3.0/3.0 Beta 3.1 (Programming Language Software). This issue affects an unknown code block of the file viewall.php. The manipulation of the argument start
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in (1) viewall.php and (2) category.php in paFileDB 3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the start parameter to pafiledb.php.
The weakness was disclosed 05/02/2005 by sp3x (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-0781 since 03/20/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
