Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in search.asp in ACS Blog 0.8 through 1.1b allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web script or HTML via the search parameter.
The weakness was released 03/17/2005 by farhad koosha (FarhadKey) as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2005-0802 since 03/20/2005. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
