Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in CoolForum 0.8 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via (1) the pseudo parameter to entete.php or (2) the login parameter to register.php.
The bug was discovered 03/18/2005. The weakness was disclosed 05/02/2005 (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-0858 since 03/24/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 4 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:entete.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
