Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Aaron Outpost ASP Inline Corporate Calendar allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the Event_ID parameter to (1) defer.asp or (2) details.asp.
The bug was discovered 04/23/2005. The weakness was shared 05/03/2005 by Zinho (Website). The advisory is shared at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-1481 since 05/11/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 10 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:defer.asp it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem.
