The SSH module in Neteyes Nexusway allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in arguments to certain commands, as demonstrated using ping and traceroute.

The weakness was released 05/10/2005 by pokleyzz (Website). The advisory is available at secunia.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-1560 since 05/14/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
