The bug was discovered 06/21/2005. The weakness was disclosed 06/20/2005 with Hat-Squad (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-2034 since 06/21/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
