A vulnerability was found in ASP-Nuke (version now known) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file article.asp. The manipulation of the argument articleid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The weakness was shared 04/22/2005 by Diabolic Crab as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-2067 since 06/29/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
