Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in openwebmail-main.pl in OpenWebMail 2.41 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the sessionid parameter.
The bug was discovered 04/27/2006. The weakness was disclosed 09/08/2005 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-2863 since 09/08/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
