Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the "add content" page in phpMyFAQ 1.5.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) thema, (2) username, and (3) usermail parameters.

The bug was discovered 11/10/2005. The weakness was disclosed 11/19/2005 by Tobias Klein with trapkit.de (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-3734 since 11/21/2005. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and a exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
