A vulnerability has been found in Xaraya 1.0 Rc1/1.0 Rc2/1.0 Rc3/1.0 Rc4 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function create
of the file xarmlsxml2phpbackend.php of the component Backend. The manipulation of the argument module
with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in the create function in xarMLSXML2PHPBackend.php in Xaraya 1.0 allows remote attackers to create directories and overwrite arbitrary files via ".." sequences in the module parameter to index.php.
