A vulnerability was found in WebCalendar 1.0.1 (Calendar Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown part of the file export_handler.php. export_handler.php in WebCalendar 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to overwrite WebCalendar data files via a modified id parameter.

The bug was discovered 11/28/2005. The weakness was published 11/28/2005 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at ush.it. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-3961 since 12/01/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
