The bug was discovered 12/12/2006. The weakness was presented 12/12/2006 by Kostya Kortchinsky and Clement Seguy with Google as MS06-074 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at microsoft.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-5583 since 10/27/2006. The attack may be launched remotely.
