The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2005 by Ruben Santamarta (Website). The advisory is available at labs.idefense.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-2932 since 09/15/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. Local access is required to approach this attack. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
