Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.php in (1) GmailSite 1.0 through 1.0.4 and (2) GFHost 0.1.1 through 0.4.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the lng parameter.
The bug was discovered 11/13/2005. The weakness was released 12/29/2005 by Lostmon Lords (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-4627 since 01/06/2006. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
