A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Francisco Burzi PHP-Nuke 7.8 (Content Management System). This affects an unknown functionality of the file modules.php of the component magic_quotes_gpc. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in modules.php in PHP-Nuke 7.8, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) name, (2) sid, and (3) pid parameters in a POST request, which bypasses security checks that are performed for GET requests.
