The bug was discovered 02/10/2006. The weakness was disclosed 02/13/2006 with Debian (Website). The advisory is shared for download at debian.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-0599 since 02/08/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
