The weakness was released 03/30/2006 by rgod (Website). The advisory is shared for download at retrogod.altervista.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-1596 since 04/03/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
