The weakness was published 04/18/2006 by r0t (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at osvdb.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-2062 since 04/26/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
