Bitrix Site Manager 4.1.x allows remote attackers to redirect users to other websites via a modified back_url during a HTTP POST request. NOTE: this issue has been referred to as "cross-site scripting," but that is inconsistent with the common use of the term.

The weakness was shared 05/18/2006 by Gogi The Georgian (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-2478 since 05/19/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
