Dmx Forum 2.1a allows remote attackers to obtain username and password information via a direct request to pops/edit.php with a modified membre parameter.

The weakness was released 06/12/2006 by DarkFig (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-2947 since 06/12/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.

A public exploit has been developed in Perl. It is possible to download the exploit at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
