A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Vincent Hor Calendarix Basic up to 0.7.20060401 (Calendar Software). This issue affects an unknown code of the file cal_event.php of the component magic_quotes_gpc. The manipulation of the argument id
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Calendarix Basic 0.7.20060401 and earlier, with magic_quotes_gpc disabled, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the id parameter in (1) cal_event.php and (2) cal_popup.php.
The weakness was released 06/15/2006 by Federico Fazzi (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-3094 since 06/19/2006. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
