Directory traversal vulnerability in SZEWO PhpCommander 3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via directory traversal sequences in the Directory parameter, as demonstrated by parameter values naming Apache HTTP Server log files that apparently contain PHP code.
The weakness was shared 09/08/2006 by Kacper (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-4636 since 09/08/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
