Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in starnet/editors/htmlarea/popups/images.php in Site@School (S@S) 2.4.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload and execute arbitrary files with executable extensions.

The weakness was disclosed 09/20/2006 (Website). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-4922 since 09/20/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.

A public exploit has been developed by simo64 and been published even before and not after the advisory. The exploit is available at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
