Directory traversal vulnerability in admin.php in Vikingboard 0.1.2 allows remote authenticated administrators to include arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) sequence in the act parameter.

The weakness was published 11/18/2006 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-6284 since 12/03/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. Required for exploitation is a simple authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
