The Microsoft Office Outlook Recipient ActiveX control (ole32.dll) in Windows XP SP2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (Internet Explorer 7 hang) via crafted HTML.

The issue has been introduced in 07/27/2005. The weakness was shared 12/19/2006 by shinnai (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-6659 since 12/19/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
