IBM Lotus Domino R5 and R6 WebMail, with "Generate HTML for all fields" enabled, stores HTTPPassword hashes from names.nsf in a manner accessible through Readviewentries and OpenDocument requests to the defaultview view, a different vector than CVE-2005-2428.
The weakness was shared 02/13/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-0977 since 02/15/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
