A vulnerability was found in Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.x (Photo Gallery Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown function of the file reviewcom.php. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Coppermine Photo Gallery (CPG) before 1.4.15 allow remote authen ticated administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) albumid, (2) startpic, and (3) numpics parameters to util.php; and (4) cid_array parameter to reviewcom.php.

The weakness was published 01/30/2008 by Janek Vind (Website). The advisory is available at coppermine-gallery.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2008-0504 since 01/31/2008. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The successful exploitation requires a authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

Upgrading eliminates this vulnerability. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at coppermine-gallery.net. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version. A possible mitigation has been published 4 weeks after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
