Directory traversal vulnerability in includes/footer.php in News Manager Deluxe (NMDeluxe) 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the template parameter.

The weakness was released 04/15/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-2303 since 04/26/2007. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1006.
