The bug was discovered 05/08/2007. The weakness was disclosed 05/08/2007 with Microsoft as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is available at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-0323 since 01/17/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
