A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, has been found in SmartCode VNC Manager 3.6. Affected by this issue is the function connectasyncex
in the library scvncctrl.dll of the component ActiveX Control. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a heap-based overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-122. Heap-based buffer overflow in the ConnectAsyncEx function in VNC Viewer ActiveX control (scvncctrl.dll) in the SmartCode VNC Manager 3.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long argument.
