Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in searchform.php in the AndyBlue theme before 20070607 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PHP_SELF portion of a URI to index.php. NOTE: this can be leveraged for PHP code execution in an administrative session.

This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2007-3239 since 06/14/2007. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. Upgrading to version 2.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
