Directory traversal vulnerability in activateuser.php in 2532|Gigs 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the language parameter.

The weakness was published 08/26/2007 with bd0rk (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-4585 since 08/28/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1006 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
