Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in index.php in the File Manager module in Flatnuke 3 allows remote attackers to perform certain actions as administrators via requests containing the pathname in the dir parameter and the filename in the ffile parameter.

The weakness was shared 10/23/2007 (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-5773 since 11/01/2007. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
