The bug was discovered 01/09/2008. The weakness was shared 01/11/2008 by Adrian Pastor with ProCheckUp (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at procheckup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-0240 since 01/11/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
