A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in eTicket 1.5.5.2 (Ticket Tracking Software). This issue affects some unknown processing of the file search.php. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in eTicket 1.5.5.2 allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) status, (2) sort, and (3) way parameters to search.php; and allow remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (4) msg and (5) password parameters to admin.php.
The weakness was shared 01/15/2008 by L4teral (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-0267 since 01/15/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
It is declared as highly functional. By approaching the search of inurl:search.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
