A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Php Web Scripts Dynamic Photo Gallery 1.0.2 (Photo Gallery Software). This issue affects an unknown code of the file album.php. The manipulation of the argument albumID
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in album.php in PHP WEB SCRIPT Dynamic Photo Gallery 1.02 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the albumID parameter.
The weakness was shared 03/05/2008 by Aria-Security Team (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-1162 since 03/05/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
