A vulnerability was found in Adobe Form Client 5.0. It has been classified as very critical. Affected is some unknown processing in the library filedlg.dll of the component ActiveX Control. Multiple buffer overflows in Adobe Form Designer 5.0 and Form Client 5.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors in the (1) Adobe File Dialog Button (FileDlg.dll) and the (2) Adobe Copy to Server Object (SvrCopy.dll) ActiveX controls.
The bug was discovered 03/11/2008. The weakness was published 03/11/2008 by Will Dormann with CERT/CC as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is shared for download at kb.cert.org.
