Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in desktoplaunch/InfoView/logon/logon.object in BusinessObjects InfoView XI R2 SP1, SP2, and SP3 Java version before FixPack 3.5 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the cms parameter.
The bug was discovered 12/14/2007. The weakness was released 04/13/2008 by Basti (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at secunia.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-1894 since 04/18/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
