A vulnerability was found in Carboncommunities Carbon Communities up to 2.1. It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown functionality of the file events.asp. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Carbon Communities 2.4 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) ID parameter to events.asp, the (2) UserName parameter to getpassword.asp, and possibly an unspecified parameter to (3) option_Update.asp in an edit action.
The weakness was disclosed 04/18/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2008-1895 since 04/18/2008. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details and a public exploit are known. By approaching the search of inurl:events.asp it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
