Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the Document Conversions Launcher Service in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 SP2, when the Document Conversions Load Balancer Service is enabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SOAP request to TCP port 8082, aka "Malformed Request Code Execution Vulnerability."
The weakness was shared 12/14/2010 by TippingPoint with ZDI (Website). The advisory is shared at zerodayinitiative.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2010-3964 since 10/14/2010. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
