Adobe Flash Player 8.0.39.0 and earlier, and 9.x up to 9.0.115.0, allows remote attackers to bypass the allowScriptAccess parameter setting via a crafted SWF file with unspecified "Filter evasion" manipulations.

The bug was discovered 04/08/2008. The weakness was published 10/06/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-3872 since 08/29/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1068 for this issue.
